Our Aims
RC Energy was created to help contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in Australia. All members of our team are strong advocates for sustainable building practices and environmental protection.
We aim to assist clients in maximising the energy and water efficiency of their development, to ensure that plans comply with relevant environmental legislation, and to help ensure development approval. By increasing the energy efficiency of developments we are also able to provide both environmental benefits, and future financial benefits for the property owner.

Karl Finnerty (BSc)

Karl is an accredited BASIX and NatHERS assessor with over ten years experience working within the residential energy industry. Karl has strong project management experience and has undertaken roles within electrical contracting, consulting and government organisations.
Ray has 11 years experience working within the electricity industry. This includes 5 years of project management experience dealing with large scale developments and authorities for the implementation of private utility networks. He is also the co-founder of a residential solar company.
Sam has a PhD in ecology and extensive experience in environmental research. She also has 2 years experience in environmental consultancy, where she worked with developers to assist them in meeting the environmental requirements of NSW and federal legislation.
